Checkd Group has launched a new Smart Picks tool with its popular FlashPicks brand across North America.
Based around Smart Acca technology, which has proven to be popular with UK-based bettors through Checkd Group’s award-winning Betting Hub app, Smart Picks utilises historical statistics and betting data to indicate which teams have been performing well, allowing users to make more informed betting decisions.
Smart Picks currently allows users to create selections across moneyline, spread and total markets in both the NFL and NBA. Users can filter by all matches in the current season, the last five fixtures, home and away games or head-to-head. More sports and additional features are set to be added in the coming months.
Smart Picks has been specifically developed and tailored to a North American audience, given the regional differences in betting habits and preferences.
Sports bettors in Ontario and 24 US states where online betting is currently regulated are able to utilise operator links on Checkd Group’s fast-growing sports betting community site FlashPicks, with Smart Picks linking users to a host of leading online sportsbooks including DraftKings, FanDuel Sportsbook, BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, bet365 and PointsBet.
Launched in February 2022, FlashPicks has quickly gained traction on social channels, with over 500,000 unique visitors and 1.4 million website sessions. It is also growing its video and audio content presence, with new headline show ‘For Bettor or Worse’ already achieving over 400,000 total views and 20,000 listens across all platforms.
